Loss of water pressure in shower only
My husband installed a new water heater and it works great. We have one big problem to solve after the installation. All of the water faucets, toilet and washing machine work great but we now have no water pressure in the bath tub faucets. We don't even have enough pressure to use the shower. We have checked the pipes for leaks and have found nothing and all of the other faucets in the bathroom work great as well as all other water sources in the house.
Any suggestions of where to check next would be greatly appreciated.

Yup... see this quite often with water heater replacements... ;)

Sounds like you need to shut the water off to the house (or the individual bathtub valves if possibe), then remove the internal parts to the faucet and then PULSE the water on/off to remove the sediment that has gotten into the valve and clogged the cartridge or seats/washers.

Then need to reassemble valve and should be all set.

On occasion, if cartridge assembly in there, the cartridge can get ruined by the sediment. If so, will need to replace the cartridge... but that is worst case.

Let us know if you need more information... MARK
