I just ended a relationship with a man whose lifestyle of sex was too far over the edge for me. I was with him 6 months. The last month he talked of things with children(girls) I thought he was kidding, but too many times he would bring it up. Wanted to know where to get them, if I knew women with children, just talk of doing the wrong things to little girls. Well I listened to it and never thought anything of it, but it has bothered me. So I thought maybe I should just tell someone. I don't want him to hurt anyone let alone get himself in trouble and the things he talks about grown men do not do. Ita against the law and he is a cop. I think he needs help, but what to do. I certainly don't want him to lose his job but I don't want him to hurt anyone.

You should go to the police to tell them what was said. Better safe than sorry. If he is serious all his supervisors can do is go to the police so you should just do it. If they were to do it it would be considered hearsay. I suggest to go to the police the sooner the better.

I read through your past posts and realize you are seeing a counsellor - does the counsellor think this part (being a pedophile) is just talk or part of his bisexual, "swinging" lifestyle - ? What does the counsellor think you should do - ?

(Six months of this lifestyle is a lot to put up with - was this from the beginning or did it evolve - or was it more of a fantasy thing with him - ?)

I think you may be opening yourself up to a MAJOR problem if you snitch on him. I say this, only because he's a COP. If he were a detergent salesman, I'd say report his pedophilia a$$.

But, he's not one of those, is he? He's a guy who carries a gun, and who you already know is a little bit kookoo. You certainly don't know enough to get him fired, or convicted or ANYTHING, for that matter. All you can do is cause him some trouble...

And, he can cause you some trouble too!! If it were me, I'd keep my mouth shut.

If that's all you have, you have nothing. What do you expect to happen with no proof?

Until he does something to harm another person I would keep my mouth shut about this. If you read about him in the newspapers that's another story - then come forward and speak up.
