    Broken drum trap
Is there anything I can do to plug a hole in a drum trap until I can get it replaced?
It was probably damaged by a recent snake job. The hole is about 2" long by about 1" across at the widest point. It's at the top part of the trap.

You can not snake a drum trap, (see image)but then you already know that. Sounds like it was made of lead and if it is forget it. My advice is to replace all that old pipe with a PVC trap and pipe. Good luck, Tom
