I have low water pressure all through the house, my pump oes not cycle under the house. If I open and close the switch sometimes I lose all pressure. Would this be a switch problem or a bladder or tank problem?

What do you mean that you "open and close the switch"?
We're a little lacking in information here. What does your pressure gauge read? Are the contact points in the switch closing/opening as they should be? Give us a little more info. Are you saying that the pump does not cut on at all?
The pressue gauge reads 8psi and when the contacts are opened and closed I hear the pump for a second or two and the pressure goes up to 12psiQuote:

1. Are the points closing? If so, then the switch is doing its job. Use a voltmeter and see if you have current to the two wires going to your pump. If so, then the switch is good and you start looking toward the pump. The only hangup here could be points that need cleaning. Do this with an emory board, then clean the points with a cloth strip (with, of course, the power off).
2. When the points close, is the pump cutting on? If not, then are you getting power to the pump? If it is coming on, then does the pump need priming? (I am assuming this is a jet pump since you referred to it as under your house). To prime the pump, there is a plug or pressure gauge at the top of the pump housing. Screw it out, pour in water until it overflows, then replace the plug/pressure gauge.
Go that far, then come back to us.
