    Mouse has no power
Hi guys/gals, I was moving my computer tower over a few inches last night and my mouse wire was caught and got tugged a bit. The kind of mouse I have is a usb port end... but I was using a adapter to plug it in the green mouse port. So, now when I use the adapter, and plug it in the green mouse port, I have no power or nothing. If I pull the adapter off and plug it straight in the usb port, it works fine. I am low on USB's , so I would like to put it in the orignal location... Any ideas?

Try to swap the with another usb port to see if that would help, if no power in another usb slot, it is the cable

Hi, thaks but you must have read the words wrong. The mouse works in all usb ports, but the factory green mouse port stopped working.

You likely damaged the adapter or the green PS/2 port. Look for bent or missing pins in the adapter.
