Im so sorry I email you I have never used this website. I have another question I just spoke to my landlord and asked for a copie of my new lease and he told me that their was no new lease that he just wrote on the old lease the new monthly payment is this leagal? And is my grandmother still liable if she didn't agree to the increase in rent?

If you signed something, you should get a copy of what you signed. If the landlord amended the payment then you had to initial it at the least to make it legal. For your grandmother to still be liable you would both have had to initial it.
