    Emancipation in Georgia
What do you have to do to get emancipated in Georgia?

There does not appear to be an emancipation law in Georgia - it's on a case by case basis. You would have to petition in Family Court, present evidence why your present living condition is unsafe or why you want to make the change, present evidence that you can support yourself and will not become a ward of the State. The Judge reviews the evidence and makes a determination.

Or a person can enlist in the Military.
