    Getting husband to move out
My husband and I have been having marital strife for years. I recently turned 40 and am finally brave enough to say enough is enough. I asked him to move out so that we both could heal and the kids could also be away from the obvious tension between the two of us. He refuses to move out and I can't afford to with three kids. I'm not ready to rush and file for divorce and I'm not afraid that he's going to physically hurt me or my kids, so is there anything legally that I can do to get him to move out? If I move out, how do I protect my interest in the marital home?

If he's a danger to you, you may be able to get a restraining order. But I would consult with an divorce attorney. You may be able to file for a formal separation that will force him to move.
