    Auto Repo
    Hello..

In 2001 I purchased a 1997 used vehicle.. I always made my payments on time and some even early.. in 2003 I tried to refinance but my bank said no but then stated that they would allow me to consolidate my auto loan along with my credit card.. I relocated to another state in 2005.. In 2006 my transmission went out and my car was at the dealership for 5 months.. betwwen trying to come up with $3500.00 to fix the car, paying for a rental and making the payments money was tight.. I started to make late payments maybe 3-5 days late and they eventually fell 4 months behind.. the bank allowed me to catch up without charging me the late fees and repo fees as long as they had my new address.. the vehicle was paid up until Jan 2007.. I was unemployed for 11 months and could no longer make the payments.. I have not made any payments on the vehicle since Jan 2007.. the bank got in contact with me April 2007 and asked me to get in touch with them to figure out what to do about the car.. they actually sent me a email.. I then replied to the email telling them to come get the car because I could no longer afford to make payments.. they have my address but till this very day I still have not heard a word from my bank.. the bank has the title and without the title I can not register the car so it just sits outside.. I haven't been in contact with the bank because I assumed they were coming to get the car.. I thought about filing bankruptcy to get this from under me.. I refuse to pay for any fees they might try to attach to me especially being that I told them to come get the car.. I would really like someone to help me with this situation.. My parents address is on my loan as my residence being that I lived their until 2005 when I relocated.. but they haven't received any documents, no letters, no repo notifications.. nothing.. my credit is destroyed because of this and I really think bankruptcy is my only option.. any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated..
