    In Indiana how can I emancipate my17 yr old son .

    You would have to apply with your evidence (why do you want to emancipate him or why does he want to be emancipated) to your local Family Court.

    There is no set formula for emancipation in Indiana - "usually" the minor has to be self-supporting and not in danger of becoming a ward of the State, in the military, in some States married.

    Indiana goes on a case by case basis, no set formula.

    More details are needed. Why do you want to emanicipate him? Does he have a job? Can he support himself?
