Hi, I´m a 14 year old male. My mom says that I am very good looking, other adults say the same thing, a lot of older girls say that I´m really cute, but I don't get it, if that´s true, than how come must of all the girls at my school ignore me, or when they do talk to me, why do they call me ugly? I´m a very nice person, I like girls, and I try to be extremely nice to them, but nothing happens, don't get me wrong here I´M NOT LOOKING FOR SEX, OR CHEAP RELATION SHIPS, I just want to have some friends that are girls, I´ve asked some girls out before, and have been rejected every time. Am I really that ugly or what?

Yep, you're good-looking.
No two ways about it.
The girls your age are probably all just looking for different things, and experimenting with the idea of guys at the moment. Some probably do like you.
One problem with your age group is that guys and girls often think for the other gender as being a completely separate species, and thus have no idea how to approach them. Try just talking to girls as you would one of your male friends. Get to know them and just be yourself, the rest can come later.

First girls go for all sorts, at 14 often they think about guys who do rock bands or football players and the head of the chess club sort of gets left out. It changes as one grows order and people start looking at your personality and hobbies and other factors

You're not a bad looking dude. I think its just girls resent you for having so much respect for them because a lot of teen girls don't respect themselves. Continue to be who you are. You are a stand up guy and some would find you stunning. Teen girls are just lost. It gets easier in your 20's when you are able to find your niche more. Keep your head up and don't let someone else's bull be yours. You are just fine.

You are good looking, and I can understand that girls a lot now a days have been really picky about guys they date.. at least in my area. I'm also 14 so I see it happening everyday... and it's not fair. Even if people aren't the best looking they refuse to talk to them at all... I see it differently, so don't worry a girl one day who doesen't focus only on looks (allthough they are a nice touch) will find you and apreteate you for who you are and not how you look.

e.g.. in the baseball team or basketball team or something

You're a good looking guy. I found when I was your age I tried to hard. When I finally stopped caring that's when girls actually started talking to me. Just like thegreatest said sometimes you can't let the girl know you are attracted to her. It doesn't make sense but it works. Just be yourself and you will be fine. Good luck

Girls at this age think guys are looking for sex, so you have to just talk, ask for help with homework or coment on there backpack just be polite and once they feel safe around it will be fine
