    Dry clean only?
So my daughter (we are trying to potty train her) had a messy accident on a dry clean (with the feathers in it) blanket the nearest dry cleaning is 20 minuets and I don't have a car and its to late. What can I do to clean this blanket?? I'm scared to put it in the washer and I'm scared to hang dry is anything okay to do to it or should I wait??

Dry Clean Only means exactly that.

Water can destroy bonding connection points. The chemical (used to be perketholene (?) acts as a solvent to get surface dirt off. However because this is a human waste stain, a spotter may have to steam the fabric clean first.

It's been over thirty years since I worked for a dry cleaner in New York City so I'm real sure the chemical solvents have gotten better, but the real problem is the human waste.

Home Dry Cleaning with Dry Cleaner's Secret

I have used this product on clothes and it seemed to be great!
I have not used it on a blanket though. You may want to read up and see if you can use it on blankets and clothes!
I also have to suggest you refrain from using dry clean only items until your daughter stops soiling them, this can get awfully expensive;)

Eeek, I always wash my down filled blankets in my washer at home. I've never had a problem.

Startover's advice sounds good, but you'd still have to go out and purchase that product. Maybe do some spot cleaning at home with a moist rag and some vinegar or other cleaning product, that way the stain won't set and you can take it to the cleaners the next day. This is just my thought, not proven, don't know if it will work, but that's what I would do.
