Bt definition, to have a sound, you need a transmitter & a receiver. If there is no receiver, there is no sound...

There is most always a receiver nearby (squirrels, birds etc0. Except maybe in Chernobyl.
The bigger question is: If a man makes a statement out in the forest, and his wife is not nearby, is he still wrong? (joking.. )
