I had a load of clothes in it and some point of time it stopped. You can hear a little tick when you push the button but it doesn't move . You can make the timer ring when you hold the button in at the same time I'm trying to save money please help

Are we talking an automatic ironing machine here? Is it gas, electric or pedal powered?
