Just remember who you are! Don't change yourself too much to fit into any perticular group. Be nice and go out of your way to make friends. A lot of kids will already have there "group" by 8th grade. So you just have to go out of your way to make friends don't expect them to come to you. Be outgoing! As for the academics just work hard and you will do fine I'm sure. Why have your parents put you on homeschool and then back in public?

Oh yea, I remember those 'groups'. I never seemed to fit into any particular one. In fact, I'm not sure if I fit into either of them. I hated those groups...

I remember being 'dissed' because I was different. I didn't have that certain popular look. I wore hand-me-down clothes, no make up, couldn't shave until I was 13 and no make up until I was 15. I was a straight A student though a heck of an artist.

Hey, when I was in eighth grade, all went well. You want to be popular? Well I kind of was. When I got to high school, I went emo. Don't do that kid, it ain't smart. a/w, to keep away from mean kids, bad kids, yea you'll know it by the looks on their faces. O rby the way you talk to them. Don't wait fur them to walk up to you. YOU yea you kid, you go up to them.:)

o0 Buddy. Don't be worried all right... everyone whose anyone had those feelings. Just do what you have to do, do your schoolwork, and when the time comes your going to make the right friends. Just make sure, follow your heart, anything that doesn't feel right, Don't DO IT... dont fall into the scam of peer pressure...

    ~~Good Luck

Hey I just got out of there.
    I'm a 9th grader!! Woooo

Don't be shy, put yourself out there

    Present yourself as yourself.

People can either like you or not.

    Don't try too hard,
And don't wait for people to approach you,
Approach them.don't be too friendly with people especially gangsters
Then they will meanmug you and walk all over you.

Find a group of friends you have things in common with
And they have friends who have friends
So you will meet people guaranteed

    As for the schoolwork,

    Piece of cake.

The best lesson I've learnd through middle school and high school is that you have to let things pass you by. If the "popular" crowd doesn't take you in, then oh well, it's their loss. You are the only one that can let people get to you. Just be yourself. There is NO problem with being friendly. If people don't return your optimism then forget them.

You'll find a group that you click with, and I'm sure the work won't be a problem.
