I have a new lcd TV and can not connect the vcr/dvd. I have directv hd box. I tried the same way I have it in my other tvs ( not lcds) and does not work.
Any one have any ideas, I tried the instructions from the book with no luck.

If not, what parts not working? Are you getting anything on the TV?

TV works fine,
But if I want to record a program or see a cassette it won't work, with the connection that I'm using.
I will push the input button on the remote control the screens shows av1 vcr.
But then the screens shows searching for signal, and weak of no signal.
