    Going over seas
My husband is a spc in the army stationed in germany and we've been trying for a year to go about moving there on post with him. I've run into the problem ambiances birth father won't sign a sworn statement so I can move there. He has not seen her talked to her sent her anything for any holidays and has never taken any actions in seeing her. He refuses to sign anything because he wants to see her now (this is a off and on thing when he doesn't have a girlfriend she isn't his kid but when he's in a relationship she is his world.) he's only seen pictures from my myspace a ex girlfriends of his is my good friend and I am starting to get so depressed I want us to be with my husband ambiance knows nothing of daniel her "real" father since she hasn't seen him in 2 years. There was a domestic violence against her me and him (he hit her and broke my arm when she was 6 months old) he is also in the army and can't go anywhere because he's getting ready to deploy in December to iraq. Is there anything I can do? Some people have told me I can see a judge and have them sign her off after listening to my case and investigating but others tell me this isn't true and I have no car (due to gas prices are just to high) by choice so I couldn't start court for soul custody.

Can anyone give some advice or anything?

(also I have never been to court over anything dealing with custody I've had her in my care alone since birth but he did sign the birth certificate)

    This really helps thank you

    Hello Renee:

You're going to have to go to family court to get your rights. That's the only place things like this can happen. It's not difficult, but it's easier if you have a lawyer.

    Hello again, Renee:

In court, nothing is certain. If you hire a really mean lawyer, HE can probably make your ex tow the line pretty good. If your ex gets a lawyer too, then you're off to the races.
