If a child is 18 but still in high school, when does child support stop. When he is 18 or when he gets out of school?

Typically it is until the child graduates if they are 18. But it depends on the verbiage in the order like Scott said.

I am seeing more and more written until age 21 as long as the child is a full-time student.

I hear about that as well, in other states. California still doesn't go with that on a normal basis. It is pretty safe to say it is at least until the child graduates though when we don't know the exact details or verbiage of the order.

You need to read the exact wording of the child support agreement, normally it will actually include wording for support to continue to 21 or 23 if the child is still in school ( assuming college)
