    I have a honda vtech engine I need to identify the year of manufacture . The #b18c14302188 is stamped on the block and there is another # on a tag jh4db8590vs000348 any help is appriecated

    The tenth character in the Vehicle Identification Number represents the year. Since P was for 1993, my guess is V was for 1999.
