Some fertility meds can cause an inaccurate result... reading the test passed the time indicated for that test can also result in an inaccuracy. Some tests will show a faint line later, often an evaporation line, which can look very similar to a positive. It can also happen that pregnancy may have occurred but doesn't take... one test shows positive, but a later one, usually after a few days, is negative. Many more women are finding this situation, with the ability to test early in a pregnancy, which at one time would have gone unnoticed. On occasion, a test can be faulty, or maybe it was so light that it was difficult to read. Give it a few more days and try another test. If you are pregnant, you would likely notice a darker line.
