I have checked all outlets, flipped the circuit breakers, checked inside the dryer, but it will not start.

If the dryer has power, I would check the door switch next.

Door shuts fine, doesn't stick. How much will it cost if it is something worse like the motor is shot.

Esok, there is a safety switch on the door that stops the dryer when the door is opened or prevent the dryer from starting if the switch is bad. See if you can find it, also give the make and model number of the dryer.
