I am 18 and found out I have secondary amenorrhea. I REALLY want kids, and I am so bummed out. Has anyone had this and gone on to have normal healthy kids? Please I am so depessed over this.

What does that mean

I have it. Haven't had my period since Jan 08' - turns out the reason is because of high levels of prolactin... have they determined your reason? I am 30 and trying to conceive... hopefully soon my period will return - but I've read that it's possible to still conceive - think positive - that's what I'm doing.

They haven't told me the reason yet, but I had a pap so I should get the results soon. Im sorry you're going through it too, I haven't had my period since November 07.

Are your hormonal levels correct?

Have you tried to have a blood test to determine this?
