Damage to hair because of weaving and blow drying
I use to have very thick curly hair.
After weaving for several years (don't ask me why) I took the last weave out in December 2007 and my hair was thin (it was pulled too tight when weaved and I lost a bit at the back, of the thickness). Also when I washed my hair after the weave came out, it thoroughly knotted up which is when I studiply combed it).
Then I went to have it treated in April (at a hairdresser) she then Blow Dried my hair and it became unrecognisable. It is so thin you can the scalp through it. The head is thicker and almost normal but still thinner.
It has not fully receded or come out like full 'traction alopecia' so my question is:
Have I caught it in the early stages and is it possible to remedy it? My hair normaly grows fully if cut or damaged its just never been treated so bad or become so thin before. I have a healthy diet , I treat my hair with 'i'c products and Dr Miracle and I'm going to take some vitamins.
Someone please give me some experienced and professional advice.
Thank you.
