The best way to possible get him back
I dated a guy a few months back and I ended it because I felt, at the time, I wasn't ready to begin dating again after coming out of a bad marriage and needed time to sort some personal issues out. It was all very ammicable and we wished each other the best. I have since began dating again and am beginning to think he could be the 'one that got away'. I have been thinking about him more and more over the past few weeks. I want to perhaps send him an email but don't want to suggest anything over the top or ask him out. Has anyone got any suggestions for a quick email, nothing too heavy as he could be involved with someone else by now !
    Thanks.

    "Hey there.

You ran through my mind the other day, so I thought I would drop a line to see how you are.

    Always,

A simple hello, how have you been, could let him know your interested again. If he is indeed feeling the same way, he will call.

That's what I was trying to get at. Short and sweet. Just the fact that you are emailing him will let him know that you are interested in a friendship at the very least.

Yes, thank you, that's what I will do. Keep in short and sweet, I think he will reply.
Bit more advice though please... I know, from experience with him, that he will reply (if he does reply) with something along the lines of 'are you missing me ?' because he always used to email or text me this little phrase. Do I say I am missing him or reply with something else !
