I was sponsor-relative. Recently divorced husband. Sent formal letter to immigration withdrawal Petition for Alien Relative and Affidavit of Support. I did not sign the I-751 application. He cheated, intentions became obvious and informed immigration of same. Will he be granted permanent residence.

Generally speaking, if your divorce is final before your spouse files I-751, and no domestic violence issue involved, he will automatically become illegal. You should contact USCIS and officially withdraw I-864 as well.
