I was having pressure problems in the kitchen (sink single handle faucet) Delta just changed all internal parts including the diverter and now the pressure is good but the sprayer attachment no longer works and it was fine previously. What did I do wrong
Let's find out. Take the sprayer head of and turn the water on. You should have a full stream from the open hose but none from the spout. Let me know! TomQuote:

I already tried that and no water at all... read that in the Lowe's home improvement book. Is there something else to try?Quote:

Tom I do not have the model # it is an older faucet and it is similar in design to the one pictured but the handle sits off separate from the faucet. The only #'s I see on the handle are 1900 and a patent # 3056-418Quote:

I tried that yesterday and no luck... I just tried again and still no luck I might have a drip now from the sprayer but it does not last. Yesterday I took the hose and sprayer off and had water and air running from both parts so I imagine they are not clogged but maybe the hose that they connect to under the sink could be? How would I clean this part without removing the whole part... or could that be the problem. I am at a loss and appreciate your helpful advice. Thanks DonnaQuote:

Go back and look at the diagram I put up. The problem will be found arounr 9 and 10. The diverter directs the water away from the spout and down into the sprayer hose. You're clogged under the diverted and above where the hose connects in the valve body. You might try this. Shut the water off and remove the spout and diverter. Now remove the sprayer hose from the valve and run a stiff wire up and try to clean it out. Place a pot over the open valve and turn the water on for a few seconds to flush everything out. Reassemble and let me know if it works now. Regards, Tom
All has been tried and no luck the hose to the sprayer is clear because if you suck on the hose water can pass the stream just does not continue on its own it has to be forced. Guess I will just have to deal with out having a sprayer the pressure is far better than it was and I would rather have full pressure in the sink than the partial flow I had before. Anyway thanks for all of your ideas and help. Let me know if you come up with anything else and I will sure give it a try. DonnaQuote:
