    DUI Parole violation
    OK A friend of mine is on Parole for his 2nd DUI he has been going to classes for almost a year. HE was sentanced to a year. Tonight he had a beer prior to going and was kicked out of class and is being sent back to court. Will be go to jail??


    PLEASE HELP!!

    First he is on probation, not parole - huge difference. He will have a probation violation hearing and at that time the judge will determine the punishment for drinking while on probation.

    Well did he go to jail and then put on parole,

    As noted a big difference between parole and probatoin as to what is going to happen.

    If he was kicked out of class on parole, yep, pack his toothebush and his soap on the rope.

    On probatoin, he will have to report this to his probation officer, who will have to decide, since the classes are most likely required, if he can not get back into them, yes for sure they will almost always send him to jail.
    But they can send him to the judge for this and he will decide.

    He is on probation or parole for drinking, so he is decides to break the rules and drink he is merely asking to go to jail, showing no respect to follow the rules
