OK, here's the story: I live in a pretty small town and I switched schools and I'm in the 7th grade. Well, I've made good frenz and everythin but I like this guy and I don't know if he likes me. Him and I text back and forth all the time and I've gone to the movies wit him but wit other people. He flirts wit me all the time but I don't know if its serious. Hes a great guy and I really like him but he is a jerk 2 my frenz sometimes. Can anyone tell me if he really likes me? Idk if he knows I like him because my friends boyfriend is 1 of his & my frenz & that friend knows. Help!

Let him like you, like him back, whatever, but don't chase extra drama into the situation by starting this habit of over-analyzing what guys do or don't think. You'd probably be saddened to learn how little guys think of this stuff the way you do.

No, he just likes you, or doesn't (sounds like he does) and then goes on having fun. You should do the same. You two can like each other and go out safely in groups and never have to introduce the extra pressure of exclusive bf/gf stuff at all. You really can.

At your age, going exlcusive is often a fast track to dangerous "private" activities, since you can't really do much else on your own.

Think about it, make sure you really want that pressure on you right now. I'd vote you just enjoy each other's public company as much as possible, don't fret about the rest.
