    Re-stringing a spool for a gas trimmer
I have a Homelite ST275 grass trimmer. I have attempted to re-string the spool for this trimmer and have had no success. The spool is dual chambered and releases more string by applying pressure to the spool "button".

I appreciate any help with re-stringing this spool.

Does the bottom of the spool have arrows on it? Usually the Duel spool carries two different lines one in each. The duel area where the line goes is separated? If you take the spool and look at the bottom of it the string should be wound counter clock wise. THere should be a hole in each section or a slit that the trim line will stick and hold in place while you wine the string Both sections need to wind the same direction counter clock wise. Now that Ive said that If this doesn't seem to work rewind in the opp direction and try again. Some trimmers do unspool in different directions. Also usually don't wind more than 6 feet of line per side at one time.
