    Credit card lien on proprety
My wife pass away, and I want to know if the credit card debt she had in HER name can put a lien on joint property we owned?

Yes - she owned the property and you owned the property.

Has a Judgment been awarded? The property will have to be re-titled according to the Will so perhaps by the time the Judgment is awarded the property will be out of her name. Or perhaps the credit card will not pursue the debt.

Also - in some States the surviving spouse IS responsible for the deceased spouse's debts, even though they were not joint debts.

    What State?

Fl. Is the state. No judgment has been made of even court date. I have replayed for deed change on property though.
