I will just give you a little background. Right now I am separated from my husband. I have been with my husband for 8 years. Married for 6. He has a girlfriend. We have 2 beautiful children. I was with my brothers girlfriend (we will call her Sue) and we rode by one of my brothers friends house (we will call him Bill). I told Sue that I thought Bill was cute. I have known Bill since we were 5. I have always thought he was cute. Well Sue decides to call Bill while we were at a club one night. I had no idea. He gave her his number to give me.
One day while I was at work I went to call one of my friends and I had called Bill. OOPPS! He called me back, but I was not able to answer the phone. He called me later that night while Sue was there. We talked for hours. He is a very sweet guy. He told me he would like to talk to me. He said just talk and if something came of it we would try it. I told him that I had just gotten out of a relationship and didn't want to jump straight into another one. He said he understood.
Well he called me around 10 that night and asked if he could come see me. I of course let him. Well, when he walked up I got butterflies in my stomach. Well then something happened that I hadn't planned on. He freaked out telling me that he hadn't ever slept with a girl he wasn't in a relationship with especially not his friends sister. I told him everything was OK. Asked him not to say anything and he looked at me like I slapped him. He then proceeded to tell me that he had liked me ever since I gave him a ride home from a party that my brother had had. It was almost 8 years ago. We talked a little more (me trying to avoid the "like" topic). I told him I had to get up at 4 in the morning and it was already 12:30. He was a gentleman and got up to leave. When he got ready to leave he told me he loved me.
What the H***? He called me the next day. I didn't answer. I have seen him a few times, but have said very little. I do like Bill and would like to talk to him. I just don't know what to do because I don't want to hurt him.
Any advice would be great. Sorry for the book! LOL! :eek:
