I have had hpv for almost 2 years now and even with my last pregnant. Why wouldn't my doctors. Tell me it was high risk or that I could pass it to my children throgh birth are they wrong for not telling me I would have never gotten pregnant. Again if I would have known that
I guess they assume that you would know that what ever is in your body gets passed to your fetus.
No you can give it to your kids through birth
I know that you can give it to your kids through birth but I would think they could get it from
Any point conception to birth but as I said they probably assumed you would have known already.

That is what I heard but I really wonder because they are getting everything from you the entire 9 months and I find it hard to believe that it is only passed at the moment of birth.
Only at birth is what they claim though.
60-90% of people who have sex get some form of hpv. It isn't a reason, in my opinion, to avoid pregnancy unless you have a history of abnormal cells, know you have a high risk strain such as strains 6 or 11 that are linked to infant respiratory papillomatosis... but still, with small risk... the risks of complication from a c section are higher than that of transferring hpv to your child.
I don't know I just read online that its not in your blood or fluids just your cervix cells and that's y its passed at birth

Yeah I don't know why they didn't tell you. My daughter just had a baby and she has HPV.
She was labeled high risk the doctor said as a precaution.
Her baby is 2 days short of 2 weeks old. I haven't heard anything about it being passed to her baby.
Actually there is thought that it can sometimes be acquired just in utero... does not have to be through the birth canal. But again, transmission rates are quite low regardless of when the exposure takes place.Quote:

Well first I've had a kidney stone for 5 months and I have some kind of infection that makes you have premature labor I have depresstion but trying really hard to work through that and I have the high risk hpv that I didn't know I have until a week ago I feel so stressed out all the time and I've already had a misscarage before and it just hard

I know it doesn't make you feel any better, but I have a good friend who was pregnant when she found out she had the herpes virus. She hadn't had a history of real outbreaks, but she told me shed been suspicious and thought it might have been dormant for some time, since her partner wasn't a carrier and she wasn't a cheater. Long story short, she was able to deliver her baby vaginally, even though the fear of viral transmission hung over her. Try your best to not fret so much about the hpv... your practitioner knows about it, and even the "higher risk" forms are still low risk.
If your depression really sets in don't be afraid to talk to a counselor. It can make a difference. I went through a about of depression a few years ago and talking to someone about it all helped. I hated making the call and hated going... I tend to feel like I should be able to handle everything on my own... but I was glad id talked to someone. Something to consider.
I'm guessing they're having you drink a lot of water to help with the kidney stones? This can also supposedly help with your hormone levels, keeping oxytocin levels diluted, which helps fend off premature labor. And the infection was probably related to the stone?. kidney or uti? Have you actually passed the stone? Have they talked about using a stent?
I think its just a kidney stone and I don't know much about the infection but its not caused by the kidney stone and I am going to a consler and thanks for talking to me
