Does anyone know if there is a trick to installing the remote unit in the opening of an angled ceiling? The person who installed our ceiling fan said it would NOT fit because it is an angled ceiling.

Well I don't know what kind of fan you have but I know that fans on an angled ceiling can have remotes. Either the guy who installed it is 1) an idiot 2)he didn't want to do it OR 3)you may have a really dumb fan that won't work that way. I really doubt it is the last option. My guess is number 2! What kind of fan is it? Maybe we can find you a how-to to put it in and you can rub it in the guys face.
If it can fit on a flat ceiling, it should fit on an angled ceiling. However I've heard this before. There was a thread on here about it around back. I don't recall how they ended up resolving it, if we can search and find that thread it may help.
