    Grandparents rights
Do I have a right to see my grandchild in the state of Florida?

No in Florida grandparents have no special rights for visititation, the FL supreme court struck down all grandparents rights in 1998.

OF course since they are your grandchildren, your child does have rights, so you need to get them to allow you to see the kids.

This may be of some help to you.

    Grandparent Visitation

The criteria in Florida are (1,3,4,5,7)

    1. Best Interest of Child
    2. Must Show Harm
    3. Prior Grandparent/Grandchild Relationship
    4. Effect on Parent/Child Relationship
    5. Any Marital Status of Parents
    6. Parents are Deceased, Divorced and/or Unmarried.
    7. After Stepparent Adoption

As mentioned by FR_Chuck, its what is in the best interest of the child / children.

    Good-Luck.
