My period was 3 days late. After the 3rd day it started, but It only lasted 1 day. What could be the problem? My periods have never been late, and I have never bleed for just 1 day.

I don't think I'd worry about it too much if I were you. My periods used to be REALLY heavy and LONG. But as I got older, they suddenly got lighter and shorter. There was nothing wrong but eventually my cycle just self-regulated. So unless you're feeling sick along with the 'different' period, I'd relax. Have you been stressed lately- this can cause the menstrual cycle to go haywire sometimes.

I have been feeling sick, but my cycle has never ever just lasted for one day. So there has to be something wrong. I feel nausiated all the time, and I know there has to be a reason for that. If so what would be the reason for it lasting one day. I haven't been under anymore stress than usual. And I'm also hungary all the time, and my stomach cramps sometimes.

It really seems like your period may just be changing but if you have reason to think it's more, then it'd be best to see your gynecologist. But my period went from lasting on average 14 days when I was in my teens, and now mine is 1 day, maybe 2 at the most. I thought it was weird at first too, but my dr said everything else is in good working order and now all my friends envy me! I'd make an appt if I was worried...
