Opening A Dishwasher Door When Running
My husbands complains that I sometimes open the dishwasher when it has first started to cycle to add a few leftover dishes that would fit in the dishwasher. He claims that by doing this I can weaken the seal and cause the dishwasher to leak. I think it is made like a frigde seal which is made to with withstand numerous opening and closing. Does anyone know for a fact which one is true?

Not sure but I do it all the time. I hope he's wrong.

I think the bigger danger would be if you did not run a cycle for a long time . Then the seals would be in danger of cracking .
