    Process Servers in Texas
Is it possible, or do you know if a convicted felon(drug charge), can become a Process Server in Texas.

Texas is attempting to license process servers; in the meantime, process servers are certified/authorized by the specific Court for which they serve papers. Certification of some sort is involved and it requires a course (or two) in process service as well as continuing education.

Applications also pass before a review board.

I believe you also have to be bonded, and that can be sticky.

Interestingly other States are watching Texas and considering licensing in their State.

I do not know if you can work off someone else's certification - for example, if someone who is certified can supervise a person who is not certified.
