my name is dannielle . im 18 & 6. mo pregnant. I left the father 3 months ago who is 19due to his controlling behavior and drug seeling/ as well as using. He has not been around for the pregnancy and had always refused to get a job& he has no money whatsoever yet alone a steady home(in and out wiith parents), & plans on being a rapper to get money. He sells extacy and uses it but is smart enough to get it out of his system. I had told him not to call me because all he did was argue and cause me stress.& he still does .. im currently keeping a phone record. He constantly blew me off to hang out with his friends and party and after telling me he wanted me to get an abortion he now just messaged me and wantss to get custody. he has nothing on me but im not sure how to go about this and what he can possibly to get custody or how i can win any advice:mad: :confused:

Research this on this site - there are tons of similar questions and tons of good, comprehensive answers.

He is entitled to visitation and perhaps joint custody because he is the biological father - UNLESS he is a danger to the child and you can prove it. You could have a problem with the Court if you knew he was using and selling Ecstacy. I don't know how clean you are and that will be a question. He will NOT get sole custody unless you are unfit or a danger to the child.

You can do nothing until the child is born.

You should get yourself an attorney. You may need to file for custody as soon as the child is born. If you think you can get support from the father, then you will need to put him on the birth certificate. If not, then leave him off and let him file for custody.

Danielle, I don't answer questions off the board - please repeat your post on this thread and I will answer.

In the meantime - if he is a danger to you, he's a dealer, why are you still seeing him? (His parents heard you screaming and came upstairs and discovered he had cut himself?) Eventually someone, someplace is going to question your judgment - and you will have a baby to protect.
