    Trying to get pregnant
    Hello,
I lost my baby on feb.10, 2008. My husband have been trying ever since. My 1st period since the procedure came on March 23rd which lasts for 5 days. Today is May 4th no period. I am 35 yrs old. I went to my dr. On April 22nd and he gave me a pap smear and thorough sonogram to check my ovaries. Tests results came out normal. I asked for clomid and he recommended I wait 6 months! Till July? I took an ept pregnancy test this morning and still a negative response. Please tell me what should I do? I am all sexed out for trying to get pregnant and husband is beginning to feel discourage. PS my dr. Also said if my period doesn't come, he'll give me something to bring it down. Sigh. I personally don't want to bring it down, I want to get pregnant.
Please help me and my concerns. Thank you.

I am so sorry for your loss and completely understand your frustration.

Understand that after having a miscarriage or a baby for that matter, it takes time for our hormones to return to a pre-pregnant state. In some women it can take up to a year for this to happen.

Most doctors will not give clomid until you have tried for a year unsuccessfully.

How often are you having sex? Every other night is preferable to every night. That's just too much. It takes men 24 - 36 hours to rebuild the proper numbers of sperm to aid in conception.

I know you are aware of this but before anyone else answers I suggest they read the other threads.

Miss Judy kaytee, pardon the confusion. It is not the same person. My twin sister put up that post on trying to get pregnant.

So is this the original poster, or the twin sister? Either way she is causing confusion in your name.

Perhaps she should get her own user name - ?

I'm sure you can understand the confusion and what appear to be different "versions" of your life.

While we're on the subject - I can't believe the reddie, either and, once again, it's a personal attack, nothing to do with the quality of the info - you will note that OP has now posted SHE is pregnant. Hmmmmm -

nitewriter disagrees: Please do not judge me. Having another children to add on to the beautiful children I already have is a blessing and more than what most people have. Life is bigger than child support money. Life is great when you have a lot of love.

Here's my problem and I can't be alone in thinking this way -

Nitewriter has been posting all over about her problems with her landlord and child support. Then Nitewriter posted that she was trying to get pregnant.

When questioned Nitewriter posted that SHE wasn't trying to get pregnant, her twin sister (Nitewriter #2) is trying to get pregnant but is posting in the name of Nitewriter #1.

Meanwhile the twins are posting on top of each other at the same computer, using the same user name, because various posts by both/either are minutes apart.

Now in answer to the pregnancy thread one/both of the Nitewriters has posted "... life is bigger than child support money ..." indicating that, in fact, the pregnancy WAS posted by Nitewriter #1 and not the evil twin sister, Nitewriter #2. (Why would Nitewriter #2 make reference to the child support money argument of Nitewriter #1 - so we're back to one Nitewriter.)

And I used to think I had problems - at least I don't have an evil twin.

If you are really trying to have a baby, my husband amd I tried for over 2 years to get pregnant with our first child. I finally just said that if it happened it happened. I was done trying the different methods that I had heard *Worked* none of them had worked for me. About 2 months after I quit trying, we found out that we were expecting. The dr. told me that I was stressing so much about trying it was messing up my hormones. I do not know if he was right or not, but it seems logical!
