How do I string a troy built trimmer spool?

Remove the trimmer spool from the head, open it up, remove any remnants of old line, use about 15 to 18 feet of line, divide in half, Do Not cut in half, leave one end about 4 inches longer. Then wind the direction indicated on the spool.
