    Cat sneezes repeatedly.
I recently adopted a cat about 2 weeks ago and he sneezes quite a bit and every once in a while he gets these really huge nasty boogies.. I know it sounds gross and it really is! Does anyone know if that is a sign of an upper respiritory problem or something else? Any info or advice would be great thanks :)

We saved our Himalayan Persian when he was kitten because he had cat flu as the breeder didn't want to pay the vet fees at the risk of losing it anyway ~ she virtually gave him away. I took a sad little ball of ffluff that couldn't stop sneezing and pooping straight to the vet, and he was fine. Taking your adopted cat to the vet is the only answer...

What sort of cat is it? I hope he/she will be fine :)

She could have a blade of grass up her nose, or numerous other problems, get her to the vet ASAP.

My older cat has started to sneeze. He sneezes about four times a day repeatedly but has not lost his appetite. Should I take him to the vet? I am short on cash

My older cat has started to sneeze approx. 4 to 6 times a day ina repeated manner. He has no runny nose and has not lost his appetite. Do you know why this is? Do I have to take him to the vet because I am short on cash but very worried.

He is probably suffering from allergies. Because cats metabolize medications differently from people and dogs, I would suggest to at least speak with a vet to see if giving benedryl is safe for your cat.
