My name is christine and I have just finished completing all my plan payments under chapter 13 and was wondering how long does it take before I should expect my discharge paper in the mail. My case was reopened back in January because of a clerical error according to the notice I received from the court. I apparently owed 3 more payments that I completed.

The Ch 13 Trustee's office typically completes an audit of the allowed claims, monies paid in, and monies paid out. I saw an article today that said bankruptcies are being filed in record numbers, so your discharge could take a little longer that usual. In what district and what division did you file?
