:) I live in a large pub with lots of stop cocks throughout. I turned off the one I n the ladies loo and when I turned back on I can not get any water through. Every other in the pub is OK. Your advice please before I have to call a plumber.

What did you turn stop cock off too.. Was it a sink or a toilet?

Anyway... when you used the stopcock it could have seized shut or the stem could have broken off in the stopcock.. or may be that the washer in the stop cock disintegrated once you opened the stop cock and is now plugging the water line going to the.. toilet?. the sink??

Let us know what fixture is not working. If it is a sink that doesn't work... is hot and cold affected?? Let us know... Mark

Thanks for your reply, it was the washer that had broken and all the bits had block the bend in the pipe. It is all OK now.:)
