I had a miscarriage on Dec.30,2007:( , and the doctor said for me to wait at least 6 months before I try for another, but my best friend had the same thing happen to her some years back and she conceived 4 months later:) . Do I have to wait or can I try now? :confused:

Not knowing the particulars of your miscarriage, I can only speak in general terms. Often it is suggested to wait a little while to allow your body to recover... although I have never heard as long as 6 months be suggested before. Was this an early or late miscarriage? Was a reason determined for it?
A common reason for waiting at least a cycle or two is simply to help with knowing dates better for when a pregnancy may occur.
