Not sure what you mean by "linked OLE object" for a BMP. You can insert a BMP as a linked picture (file?) that reflects updates by choosing Insert > Picture > From File.. selecting your BMP and then clicking the small arrow on the Insert button to a get a menu where you choose to link.

I was trying to use "Insert">"Object">"Use Existing File" with "Link" checked. I realize that there are other was to do this but this is what I needed to do for this particular application.

I am actually using Crystal Report for Visual Studio 2003. I want to create a report that I can easily change the logo on. So my intent is to use the "linked" OLE Object feature to accomplish this. But for some reason, the "linked" Ole feature does not work. What I have discovered is that this problem is not a problem with Crystal Reports because the exact problem exists in all my Microsoft Office Applications. Since it is a Microsoft Problem (Like Most Computer Problems) I was trying ask the Question is the generic way. So that is why I need to use the "linked" Ole Feature.
