Erecting a metal pole fence in concrete
I have a swimming pool in my backyard and my nephews are in town and staying by me. I live in Florida and would like to erect a fence around it. I have got a quote that was $1000. I am very handy and need some tips on how to place metal poles sticking above ground about 5 feet. Connected to the poles I will run some type of mesh nylon material.
Any suggestions on the installation of the poles into concrete. What is needed?
    Thanks,
    Mikee

Better check with local building codes for pool fences.

In Texas you need to install a fence with no more than 4" between rails and no more than 4" from the ground on the bottom rail and at least a 5' tall fence. It has to be iron so that it doesn't give in case of pressure.

As far as bolting to the concrete, cool deck would be hard to drill holes and finish off after embedding the poles into it. It would be best to have pole plates at bottom of each pole with 2 cement bolts (4") driven into either the cool deck or concrete. Drill pilot holes with a cement drill first and anchor the cement bolt for a secure hold.

Your question was on poles in concrete and that's pretty much staright up. Dig/drill your holes about 12" in diameter down below the frost line which probably doesn't exit in FL you luck duck. Go down 3 feet to be safe, set and square the pole held with 2x4 bracing until the coment sets. Iam getting lay so I'm telling you to buythe special cement made for setting poles, pour it into the hole dry and then fill with water. Allow to cure 48 hours. Like DaBa said you should check local code because that fabric isn't going to float with the city inspector.
