    2000 civic ex leaking oil
I had a friend mechanic in another state look at my car thouroghly and told me I have a head gasket leak, and that my motor mounts are worn out and that's the reason it vibrates so bad with a/c on. This car is great running, doesn't burn oil but leaks oil bad. Should I redo the head when I change the head gasket? What other things should I consider when getting this type of work done. I already paid a shop to redo the rear main seal and they overfilled the oil which I believe was a signifacant factor in the accelerating this oil leak. It leaks a lot more oil, about a qt per 2k miles. I have not been driving it a lot due that I have a company vehicle. When I start it after a week it starts a little rough for a few seconds. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

It may be a head gasket oil leak, but I'd check out the valve cover gasket first. Motor mounts would cause the kind of vibration you're talking about. How many miles on this engine?
