    How difficult is it to conceive when you have polycystic ovaries?
    I have found out I have polycystic ovaries after trying for a couple of years. Now I have found out what is wrong with me is it easy to solve my problems of not concieving? And how positive are the outcomes?

    It can be very difficult but it is possible. I had to use Clomid. If you are trying to conceive then I recommend that you see a fertility specialist. Also check out SoulCysters.com: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) Treatment & Resources for more info about PCOS.

    It's going to vary from person to person. First step might be to try and get some regularity of your cycles, and then test to determine if and when you are ovulating. Some women will fall pregnant their first cycle of meds, if that becomes the recommendation... often Clomid is tried first. Other women prefer to try with an herbal supplement first for a few months and find success that way. Some women will need several rounds of fertility meds, with or without an increase in dosage along the way... and for some, it just doesn't work out for them. There are sometimes a number of options available with whatever situation you find yourself in. Obviously you'll have to work with your doctor or a reproductive endocrinologist to find out which direction is best in your situation.
