My washer is overflowing during the rinse cycle and flows out of the discharge tube. I was wondering if there is a clog and how to get rid of it?

Sounds more like you need appliance repair. Sounds like the water level is getting too high in the washer.
I don't think it's the high water level at all. There are several things that would cause your backup. 1) the most likely would be a partial blockage non down the line, in which case the line will have to be snaked from the roof vent or the stand pipe . **or** 2) Today's more powerful washer pumps can overpower a 1 1/2" trap and stand pipe. There are remedies for this. First snake the line and if you still have a problem we will either build a "surge pipe" or make the washer drain a closed system. Let me here back from you. Tom
