Its an unhealthy amount to try to lose that fast, and most people cannot respond that quickly to even intense workouts.

Better to put together a reasonable eating plan and workout schedule. If you aren't working out at all, it can take a couple of weeks alone to get your body primed... and real weight loss happens after you've been working out for a time and finally your body is strong enough to crank up your metabolism while tearing through calories in extended workouts.

So, I don't mean to discourage you... but I want you to know reality. If you start today with a reasonable workout you might be able to lose 10 lbs by then and you'll feel stronger... if you stay with a reasonable program of eating well and working out you might reach your goal by the end of summer if you push yourself and all goes well... for many, 30 lbs in a year is more reasonable.

Some can shed lbs faster than this... but most people need long term changes for real weight loss that is sustainable and healthy.

Don't be afraid to start today, even if you won't hit your goal in time... in a month you will be stronger, fitter, and on your way to being in a better place.
